The Let Animals Lead® method of Animal Reiki was developed by Kathleen Prasad, Founder of the Animal Reiki Source and Co-Founder of the Shelter Animal Reiki Association, as an ethical way to offer Reiki to animals. This method uses meditation as its foundational practice. Physical touch is only used when it is animal-initiated. This method has been used successfully to benefit all animals, both domesticated and wild, regardless of sensitivity, size, and temperament. At SARA we are proud practitioners and teachers of the Let Animals Lead® method of Animal Reiki and strive to dedicate ourselves to the virtues of humility, integrity, compassion and gratitude in our practice.
